The library has many local family histories that are available for study on site. We also have the archives of The Recorder from 1889 to the present.

Wi-Fi Public Internet Access
The library now offers wireless access to the internet. Owners of laptops can bring their computers to the library and access the internet wirelessly. They must have a wireless PCI card installed in their computers using either the 802.11b or 802.11g standard. This capability mean the library is now a "wireless hotspot."

Born in Zambia in Southern Africa, Dr. Tembo developed a keen interest in storytelling, African traditional dances, and drumming. He calls his act "BambaZonke," which in his native language means "variety show." Free. More info here.
